We license independent films, docs, specials and series for the Aerixx network. Non-exclusive, a share of what your film earns, and nothing upfront from you.
What we look for
Black and independent voices, first. Stories with a point of view that the big streamers pass on, made by people who know the world they're filming.
- Urban dramaStories from the neighborhoods, families and crews that big streamers skip.
- ComedyFeatures, shorts and series that are actually funny.
- Stand-up specialsFilmed sets, a full hour or a tight thirty.
- Music docsArtists, scenes, labels, tours and the people behind the records.
- Reality and unscriptedDocuseries, competition, lifestyle and personality-led shows.
- ThrillersCrime, suspense and anything that keeps people up past midnight.
The deal
- Non-exclusive. You keep every right to your film and can sell or license it anywhere else, at the same time.
- Revenue share, nothing upfront from you. 50% of net rentals and purchases of your film, 50% of net ad revenue on its views, and a share of the subscriber pool (30% of net subscription revenue, split between licensed titles by minutes watched).
- 2 years from the day it goes live, renewing year to year. Either side can end it with 30 days' notice.
- Quarterly statements showing views, minutes watched and earnings, paid within 45 days of each quarter.
- You promise you own the film and have cleared everything in it: music, footage, locations, and releases from everyone on screen.

What you'll deliver if we license it
- The film as a 1080p or higher video file (H.264 or ProRes, stereo audio)
- English captions (SRT or VTT)
- A trailer
- Key art without text, at 16:9 and 2:3, and your title treatment if you have one
- A synopsis and the full credits
- Notes on any strong content: language, violence, sexual content, drug use
- Your paperwork on file: music licenses and releases from everyone on screen
- A W-9 (or W-8) before your first payment
Within 30 days of signing, through an upload link we send you. To submit, you only need a screener link.
How it works

- 02We watchThe Aerixx team watches what's submitted. If it's a fit, we email you an offer.
- 03Read and signThe offer is the Aerixx Film License with your numbers in it. Read it in full, ask questions, then sign online.
- 04Deliver and go liveSend the files within 30 days. Once it's live, you get a statement and your share every quarter.

You'll need the film's details, a logline and synopsis, and a private link where we can watch the whole thing. You must own the film or be authorized by whoever does.
