Privacy policy

This explains what Aerixx collects about you, why, who it's shared with, and what you can do about it. The short version: we collect what we need to run your account and your plan, we don't sell your information, and you can delete your account whenever you like.

What we collect

Your account: email address, the name you choose, and your password (stored only in scrambled form).
Your plan and payments: which plan you're on, when it renews, and your billing history. Card details go straight to Stripe, our payment processor; we never see or store your full card number.
What you watch: where you stopped in each episode, so it can pick up there and show Continue watching.
Technical information: the basic data every website receives, such as your IP address, browser and device type, and when you visited. We use it to keep Aerixx running and secure.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in. They're necessary for the site to work. We don't use advertising cookies or sell your browsing to advertisers.

How we use it

To run your account, give you what your plan includes, and remember where you stopped watching.
To bill you, and to tell you about payments, renewals and changes to your plan.
To send account emails you need, such as sign-in links and password resets.
To keep Aerixx secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and fix problems.
To understand, in general terms, what people watch, so we can make better shows.
To meet legal and tax obligations.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with companies that help run Aerixx, for that purpose only:

Supabase: our database and sign-in system.
Cloudflare: stores and streams our video.
Stripe: processes payments and manages subscriptions.
Vercel: hosts the website.
Anthropic: its AI, Claude, helps our team draft replies to messages you send us and check display names for abuse. A person at Aerixx reviews every reply before it's sent. Anthropic doesn't use this information to train its models.
Our email provider: sends account and billing emails.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect people's safety or our rights, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete your account, your profile, watch history and plan details are deleted from Aerixx. Payment records are kept by Stripe and by us for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Your choices

Change your name or password any time in your account.
Delete your account any time from your account page.
Ask us for a copy of your information, or to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@aerixx.com. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law; we'll honor them.

Children

Aerixx is for people 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you believe someone under 18 has an account, email us and we'll remove it.

Security

Your data is stored with providers that encrypt it in transit and at rest, and access inside Aerixx is limited to what each person needs. No system is perfectly secure, but we take protecting your information seriously.

Changes and contact
